Singapore Night Hunt is the first ever night time photo marathon competition to be held in Singapore organized by Singapore International Photography Festival (SIPF). This 8-hour photography competition kick starts at 10pm from City Square Mall and ended at 7am 2902 Gallery, Old School @ Mount Sophia. Participants can venture anywhere in Singapore to complete their given themes, as long as they are back at OldSchool within the stipulated time. Using their creativity and wits, the challenge is to capture suitable images with the available light sources they can find.
It was my first time in taking part this contest. It was fun and exciting venturing out at night in the wee hours with friends and we got to work as a team, helping one another in achieving the results each of us has had pre-visualized during our hour long of brain-storming before moving out. Below are the themes given to contestants.
1. The breeze brushed by my cheek... (Continue the sentence with your own image)
2. Night Occupation
3. Starry Starry Night
4. Sound of Darkness
It's pretty subjective and everyone interprets in their own ways. Here are the 4 images I made which won the 3rd prize in this photo-marathon contest.
