Street Photography in Penang.

I went on a 3D2N trip to Penang, Malaysia from 4th to 6th December 2013, with three fellow photography friends.

In 2012, Penang Global Tourism has introduced new tourist attraction with their Street Art Project of 52 welded iron wall caricatures scattered at varies street corners, mainly in George Town. The project also features some wall paintings and murals hand-painted by Lithuanian-born artist Ernest Zacharevic.

This is a collection of photographs I took 5 years after my first visit in 2008, using the same rangefinder camera, Seagull 205 with additional second camera, a Nikon FM10 on Tamron 17-35mm lens. All photographs are exposed on Kodak Portra 400 color negatives, Kodak Tri-X 400 and FujiFilm Neopan 400 35mm black and white films. All B&W negatives are developed in Kodak D76 1:1 dilution for 500 seconds and scanned on Epson V700 with some tonality adjustments and cropping on selective images.
